Michael Koster
Michael Koster is a Master Certified Fire Investigator and Certified Fire Investigation Instructor who brings an unwavering drive to uncover the truth behind every fire loss. Known for his hunger for answers and commitment to factual, unbiased analysis, Michael ensures each investigation is approached with scientific discipline and a deep respect for accuracy.
With decades of experience in both public fire service and private investigation, he takes a thorough, hypothesis-driven approach to every case. Michael has a strong interest in HVAC systems and recently earned his EPA Universal Certification, expanding his ability to assess complex mechanical components with precision.
His extensive background includes training in vehicle fires, battery incidents, solar-related fires, small appliances, self-heating events, marine fires, fireplace and chimney inspections, HVAC systems, and more. As a U.S. Army veteran and retired Fire Department Arson Investigator, Michael brings the values of dedication, integrity, and service to every investigation by providing clients with clear, reliable answers they can trust.
